Dominican Rep. LDC round 1 best performance: Khalil Small- October 31, 2023
The 28-year old player had a double-double of 32 points and 15 rebounds, while his team outclassed, the league's bottom-ranked team Santiago Max (#8, 0-2) with 30-point margin 83-53. Immortals is placed at 5th position in Dominican Rep. LDC. Immortals is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 1-1 record. Small turned to be Immortals' top player in his first season with the team. Former University of Wisconsin - Green Bay star has very solid stats this year. Small is in league's top in points (2nd best: 28.5ppg), assists (4th best: 4.0apg) and averages impressive 2.5spg and 57.9% FGP. The second best player in last round's games was Micael Urena of league's leader Moca Superior. Urena had a very good evening with 26 points, 9 rebounds and 2 assists. Of course Moca Superior cruised to a 97-88 relatively comfortable win over Santiago Max (0-2). His team has extremely good start of the season. They won both games so far. However the season is at the beginning, so everything can happen. They still may lose their high position in the standings. Urena is a newcomer at Moca Superior, but is already one of team's top players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 21.5ppg (#5). He also registered 9.5 boards per game. Third on the list of top players last round was guard Sammy Rodriguez (185-G) of league's second-best CPN. Rodriguez showcased his all-around game by recording 23 points, five rebounds and five assists in the last round. He was a key player of CPN, leading his team to a 89-87 win against Immortals (#5, 1-1). CPN has a very good start of the season. But there was just one game played, so it's too early to judge them at this stage. Rodriguez also has a very good start of the season with very strong stats. The season just started for Rodriguez as he played only first game. But it already looks like he can be team's leader. Other top performing players last week: 4. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy. The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
